Joshua and Megan Hulen, like many other couples who already have sons, wanted to have a daughter. So when they decided to try again after one failed pregnancy, it didn’t take long for Megan to get pregnant. They were eager to find out whether or not they were going to have a daughter after so much time.
The family had two boys, a 7-year-old and a 2-year-old, before the pregnancy. They were desperate for a girl and decided to try again one last time. The couple went through fertility testing, which revealed some issues that necessitated more therapy being canceled. Because they could not believe it when they found out they conceived
When the doctors were able to acquire more information about her pregnancy, they informed the pair that she was undoubtedly pregnant. But not just with one kid; there are five!
“We went to our first ultrasound at six weeks and found out that there were five,” Megan informed us. “It was a little bit shocking, but it’s also exciting and terrifying all at the same time, I’d say.” And Megan concurred: “Absolutely.”
Joshua and Megan were expecting quintuplets, according to this. And the family of four will be a family of nine. She told WKRG and others are wondering, “They did not come from IVF.” Her husband also said, “And they aren’t COVID babies. It was previously that they came from.”
Megan is happy that the baby was conceived before the epidemic even began. This allowed her spouse to join her at several of her early appointments. And these meetings helped the family bond closer while dealing with this adversity, which will undoubtedly have a huge impact on their lives.
Her pregnancy, on the other hand, was not simple since she had to cope with the knowledge that she would soon give birth to five children as well as the COVID-19 epidemic and the restrictions placed on them. Megan said, “It’s been really crazy, something we never expected, for sure. ”
On September 2, Chloe, Adam, Emma, Allison, and Madison were born at 32 weeks into their mother’s life.The proud dad said, “It’s miraculous but overwhelming all at the same time.”
The quintuplets’ doctors and parents were equally shocked. Megan shared, “They’re not viable, or one or two vanish, or those types of things happen. And so we thought, ‘OK, there’s not going to be five. There’s going to be two, three, or something. We went back after a week, and there were five heartbeats.”
The probability of delivering quintuplets is one in 43 million. For the family, this will be a major event. They are also the first quintuplet to be born in North Dakota!
Jacob, the brothers’ brother, said it., “I’m glad to be home, and it’s just amazing because you know, this has never happened.”
Even though it was larger than they expected, Zoey is thrilled and happy to have a big family. She stated, “We’re blessed, and we’re happy about it.” And Joshua smiled adding, “Absolutely. And at some point in the future, when we get to sleep again, we’ll be thankful for that too.”
Having children is a gift. Joshua and Megan are truly blessed, as they now have two wonderful kids.
Little Angelica Hale has big dreams, and that’s okay.
After hearing the 9-year-old girl sing, you might agree that she has a good chance of becoming the next Whitney Houston.
However, Angelica’s ability to pursue her great passion in life—singing—wasn’t always guaranteed.

Grandpa here gets is as he talks to his adorable granddaughter in her native tongue. We don’t know how and why grandpa is fluent in toddler talk but it’s pretty clear that they understand each other.

Like many parents, Katie Love looks forward to celebrating the holidays with her kiddo. For the Love family, that includes a trip to see Santa. At first, 3-year-old Adley can’t wait! In the weeks leading up to her visit, Adley brings it up often. But when that day arrives, the little girl simply doesn’t want to sit on Santa’s lap.
This likely doesn’t come as a surprise to many folks, especially parents. I can’t count the times I’ve seen a kid crying while on Santa’s lap — and who can blame them? As much as they may love Santa, he’s still a stranger to them. Not every kid is going to feel comfortable getting that close.
Rather than being upset or frustrated with Adley, Katie reassures her that her feelings are valid.
“And as we got in line and she started to see a lot of the kids sitting on Santa’s lap, she tugged on my shirt and said, ‘Mom, I don’t know if I want to do that,’” Katie recalls. “And I said, ‘That is completely okay, Adley, you can say no. What ever makes you most comfortable.”
Little Adley takes her mom’s words to heart. As soon as Santa asks if she wants to sit on his lap, according to her mom, she firmly replies, “No!”
Little Girl Doesn’t Want to Sit on Santa’s Lap
“I was so proud of her in that moment,” Katie says. “It’s just incredibly challenging when you’re so small, you have very little control over what you do or wear in a day, and I want Adley, even as a toddler, to always feel in control of her body, of her actions — it’s so important.”
Unfortunately, not all adults respect children’s boundaries or their ability to create them. Thankfully this Santa, who goes by Steve Lantz in real life, understands this concept well.
“I said, ‘This is her body, and she’s in control of her body,” Steve repeats for Katie so she can capture the moment.
This video is now viral, prompting conversations on the importance of respecting everyone, including young kids.
“It just blows my mind that we live in a culture where this kind of thing goes viral because it’s rare,” Steve shares. “This should be the norm. Kids should be respected, people should be respected — it shouldn’t be a surprise that an adult affirms the dignity of a child. That should be the norm.”
Although there’s frustration in the fact that this isn’t considered the norm, Steve is grateful for the chance to contribute to this shift in mindset.
“I’m thrilled that I’m part of sending a message than can be helpful to children and could be generational,” he says. “You dream of things like that. It’s a dream come true.”
