Twins are fascinating, aren’t they? Here are two people that look exactly alike, but are actually quite different from each other. It must be quite a surprise for their parents too! After all, one of their babies was very unexpected. They’re in good company, though. At least 1 out of every 30 births in the U.S. end up as twins. (More multiples, like triplets or quadruplets, are less common.)
One mother wanted to commemorate this special relationship. She took a video of her newborn baby girls not long after bringing them home. These twins seem to be talking to each other! The little girls are making adorable faces. Some of their noises might even be words. It sounds like a very important conversation.
It’s not uncommon for twins to make up their own language. This is a unique way for them to communicate. After all, they’re the only ones who can understand what their twin is saying.
Being a twin must be such a fun experience. You have an automatic friend who shares many of your features. These babies are certainly enjoying every minute together. Look at how happy they are! The twins can’t stop smiling at each other. They even reach out to hold hands.
You can tell the babies apart by their pajamas. One twin wears a cuddly polka-dot outfit. Her sister has a onesie with an adorable pink flower pattern. Otherwise their faces are virtually the same. How cool is that? Their mom gets to have twice the happiness. The joy is automatically doubled every time her twins do something together. This will only continue as her girls grow up.
One of the hardest parts of being a parent is teaching kids to calm themselves when things go wrong. Shelbee Haderer of McCloud, Oklahoma has a great method for helping her 2-year-old, Brilee, soothe herself, and a video of their positive affirmations went viral.
The video begins shortly after Brilee accidentally smashed her little fingers in a door. She’s understandably upset by the painful experience, but Shelbee wisely has her daughter taking deep breaths through the tears. Once the little girl is calmer, Shelbee has her repeat a few adorable reminders that all kids should learn early and well: “I’m okay. I’m strong. I’m beautiful. I’m loved. I’m worthy.”
The result is practically magical! After Brilee repeats these expressions of self-love and acceptance aloud, she is noticeably calmer and more composed. Her sweet “Thank you, mom” will surely melt your heart into a puddle!

Sometimes, the biggest surprises come in the smallest packages. This rings true with a little girl from Hong Kong who shook everyone during her audition for the twelfth season of America’s Got Talent back in 2017.
A then-nine-year-old Celine Tam, who looked even younger than her actual age, performed a rendition of her namesake Celine Dion’s hit, My Heart Will Go On. Her incredible singing skill especially shocked judge Simon Cowell who underestimated Celine just based on his first impression of her.

Simon Cowell has rightfully earned his reputation for being a tough, opinionated judge on top talent shows, and he also has a knack for identifying truly talented individuals. Cowell showed signs of having a good critical eye from a young age. When he was just four years old, he told his mother that she looked “like a poodle,” wearing a white furry pillbox hat. His first impression of then nine-year-old Celine Tam may have been lackluster, but this talented little lady got the audience to their feet in seconds and caught Simon’s eye in the process.
Celine Tam is appropriately named after her favorite musical artist, Celine Dion. Celine Dion is one of the most impressive musical powerhouses of our time, and many adults who try to sing her songs on shows like America’s Got Talent pale in comparison. However, young Celine proved herself worthy of singing the great Celine Dion’s songs almost as soon as she started her performance on stage.
She chose to sing My Heart Will Go On which was one of the first Celine Dion songs that her parents ever heard her sing. At the audition, she explained to judge Mel B that she was in the car with her dad when she randomly belted out the song from the movie Titanic. Since then, her father, who is a vocal coach, decided to train her in singing. Her parents admitted that they were huge Celine Dion fans and that their daughter was actually named after her. They were not prepared for their little Celine to have musical prowess to rival Dion’s. Over the years, they recognized and nurtured their daughter’s vocal talent. With all of their time, energy, and effort, Celine Tam finally got her chance to prove her impressive skills on America’s Got Talent.
Once she started singing this Celine Dion song on stage, the audience quickly recognized the girl’s talent and rose to their feet. After the performance, it was clear that her talent wowed the judges as well. Altogether, Celine Tam sang a truly challenging song flawlessly. Her sweet yet powerful voice was perfectly emotional yet polished and precise.
South China Morning Post reported that Celine’s audition video was the top trending YouTube video of 2017 in her native of Hong Kong. South China Morning Post added the video was 40 times more popular than the next competitor video in terms of view count. Not only that, but her audition was also named as one of the top 15 most viral moments of America’s Got Talent of all time.
According to Gold Derby, the show unveiled its top 15 viral moments in commemoration of its 15th anniversary. Celine Tam was delighted by the news, as she wrote in a caption on Instagram:
“WOW! It’s honestly just a real shock for me, to be able to make it up as one of the the Top 15 America’s Got Talent Auditions for their 15th anniversary!! What a journey it has been for me! Looking back at that video gives me chills, I can’t honestly thank the judges and the amazing fans out there who has supported me along the way! Out of ALL the auditions and I was one of them, this is just incredible to think about! Thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so so much!”
When she advanced to the Judge Cuts, guest judge Laverne Cox awarded Celine with the coveted Golden Buzzer after her impressive rendition of Michael Bolton’s How Am I Supposed to Live Without You. Celine was visibly shocked by it as gold confetti rained on her while she stood eyes wide open and mouth agape on stage. Her parents were part of the audience who cheered uproariously for the little girl’s achievement. Her mother was in tears.
Celine would go on to the Quarterfinals where she performed her version of Whitney Houston’s and Mariah Carey’s When You Believe which made judge Heidi Klum give her a standing ovation. At the Semifinals, Celine sang How Far I’ll Go, the soundtrack of Disney’s Moana. But even though she received a standing ovation from Klum yet again, Celine did not receive enough votes for her to advance to the final round of the competition.
According to Celine’s America’s Got Talent wiki, America’s Got Talent is not her first nor her only Got Talent rodeo. A year before, she had auditioned for the tenth season of Britain’s Got Talent and although she passed the auditions, she did not enter the live show and neither was her audition televised. And then last year, Celine competed in World’s Got Talent which was held in China. This was where Celine received her second golden buzzer which sent her to the top eight in the competition. She did well in the competition but did not make the top two.

Dion is five years younger than Celine and even though we haven’t seen the now eight-year-old Dion conquering the singing stage like her big sister, she seemed to show promise in the realm of magic, as seen in a video posted to Celine’s Facebook page where Dion performed a card trick backstage on America’s Got Talent.

“I think it’s important that they learn these lessons because I grew up without that privilege and they need to understand that it is so important to try your hardest and do your best.”

However, as well as teaching them humility, Carey revealed in an interview with W Magazine that she spoils her kids at Christmas time since she wasn’t afforded such luxuries while growing up.
“When you grow up with a messed-up life and then you’re able to have this transformation where you can make your life what you want it to be? That is joy for me. That’s why I want my kids to have everything they can have. I want them to be able to understand that they can be anything they want to be.”
While the twins are still young and may not know what they wish to be in life yet, their singing talents suggest they could follow in their mom’s footsteps if they so wish. Monroe even dueted with her famous mom in December 2022 when Carey performed her “Merry Christmas to All” concert in Toronto. A family in Ocala, Florida, has found themselves celebrating an extraordinary coincidence for the third year in a row. September 3, a date etched in the family’s heart as the birthday of their two older daughters, Jasmine and Jessica, has now welcomed their youngest addition, baby Juliet, into the world on this very same day in 2023.
The Turners, beaming with joy, find themselves in the midst of a heartwarming saga that has left their community in awe. Jeremy Turner, the elated father, could not contain his happiness about this pleasant coincidence.
The Turner daughters were all born at Ocala Advent Health, per WCJB. The word started spreading around the hospital, and all the nurses already knew about it. Even the security personnel stationed downstairs were engaged in conversations about the family.
The journey began when Jeremy and his wife, Sauhry Turner, welcomed their first daughter, Jasmine, into the world on Sept. 3, 2023. However, they could not even predict that this auspicious date would become a recurring theme in their lives.
Exactly one year later, Sauhry gave birth to their second daughter, Jessica, on the very same day, solidifying the babies’ connection. During Sauhry’s pregnancy with Jessica, they knew her due date coincided closely with Jasmine’s birthday. However, they never anticipated their second baby’s arrival on the exact same day.
This year, the family welcomed baby Juliet, marking the third consecutive year of birthday celebrations on this unique date. Jeremy admitted that there were even more shocks and surprises to the third birth.
The medical staff attending to Sauhry during her deliveries shared in this astonishment, declaring that they had never encountered such an extraordinary series of births. As news of this incredible family coincidence spread throughout the hospital, amazement rippled through the corridors.
“It was like deja vu all over again,” Jeremy said. “Everybody was shocked and surprised, they couldn’t even believe it.”
While his wife was at the hospital with their new baby, Jeremy took some time to celebrate Jasmine and Jessica’s birthday with their extended family. They had some cake and balloons, and then the girls opened their gifts. After the simple party, Jeremy returned to the hospital.
Needless to say, the parents are looking forward to the next triple birthday celebration and believe it will be easy to pull off. They won’t even have to worry about forgetting one of their daughter’s birthdays.
Looking ahead, Jeremy expressed his hope of creating special memories for his daughters by celebrating their birthdays at Disney World in the following year. This dream holds a special place in his heart, as Jasmine and Jessica are avid fans of Disney movies.
“Celebrating their birthdays is going to be a special day for us because it’s for all three of them,” the proud dad said. “We would like to do something big for them maybe take them to Disney!”
For now, Jeremy and Sauhry also eagerly anticipate watching their three girls grow up together, sharing moments of laughter, play, and sisterly bonding, while also looking forward to witnessing the unique journeys each one will embark upon in the future. Despite sharing the same birthday, the parents swear their girls have different personalities.
